Always the best hot dogs around. Been coming here over 20 years and the quality and service has always been great.

Yesterday my wife and I were in Newington CT., lunch time we stopped at Doogies on Rte.15. Great atomsphere, old 45's line the walls along with a few vintage posters. Menu includes hot dogs 10"-16"-24" with all toppings you could want. The service was excellent , very friendly and the hostess can carry a tune, a little Lynard Skynard playing a she was sounding good. The menu has quite a variety of dogs, burgers and seafood. We went for 10" with cheese and one with cheese and bacon. Excellent !!! this is a great place to enjoy a delicious quick lunch.

Doogie's is excellent!!! After years of begging my wife to go. She finally caved. I got the Man vs Food "24 hotdog and it didn't disappoint. What I also thought was cool is they had Hosmer soda in the fountain. Nice touch having a local CT soda. Let's put it this way it won't be my last time there. This will be our new spot when we're shopping on the Berlin turnpike.

Damn these are some delicious dogs! I had the college dog which was... Spectacular. Cool location that seems like it's been here forever, definitely worth a stop in it you love hot dogs!

This is a nice little spot to go to for lunch. They keep it clean, and the staff is cool. Food tastes good and it's made when you order it. Fries are delicious. They have a good variety to choose from as well. In this day and age, the prices are reasonable also. Definitely worth trying at least once. You might end up going back a few more times.

I went here with my wife and I got the 16" chili cheese dog and she got "The Dooge". Mine was a awesome! My wife agreed and said she loved hers as well. We shared an order of french fries, which were perfectly fried, and not to mention the selection of soda with a number of great flavors. This wont be the last time I visit and I suggest you try this one out for yourselves.

I went here with my family for lunch over the weekend. I've been here a couple times before, but many years ago, and it was nice for my son to be able to experience it. We told my son about the first time we ever went here I was pregnant with him and Grandpa took us and ate a whole 2 foot long hot dog like it was nothing, and it was one of the few places I ate at when I was pregnant that I wasn't sick after which was rare. My son decided to take after grandpa and try for the 2 foot long hot dog with chili and cheese and he ate every bite, he has the hunger of a teenage boy. This place is small and cozy, you might get a table, the turnover is fast (seat yourself), there's picnic tables outside or you can take it to go. We were able to sit inside. Service is great, fast, and polite. Prices are reasonable and the food is filling and worth the value. It's so nice that this place has been around for over 100 years. I got the tenders and chili cheese fries which were delicious and crispy, and their honey mustard was top notch. Husband got fries and a chili kraut dog and was also happy with the meal. It's also really fun that the man vs food guy was here and they even have his order as a part of the menu now. You can even go online and see on YouTube and Tiktok some of the people who have tried the challenge of 2 24" hot dogs, fries and a drink in 20 minutes, it's fun to watch and a great place to check out if you have never been

Great hot dog spot with tons of toppings, and lots of other food options, not just hot dogs. Service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere is 60s themed but fast food looking - could probably have a more restaurant-ish 60s theme that would look a little nicer. Loved the hot dogs and the sweet relish is delish. Reasonably priced. Tables all had stacks of old Trivial Pursuit cards, which was cute to do while waiting for your food. Will def stop here again when in the area.
